In 2002 he completed a 5 year assignment as executive director of the Prime Ministers Supermarket to Asia Council, involved in building branded food exports. David is a professional company director and barrister. Before coming to the Forbid in 2016, David worked as a business consultant advising corporations and government entities across a variety of areas including strategic and financial analysis, MA, risk management, treasury, management reporting and the financial and commercial evaluation of business opportunities. Earlier to that he worked for over 15 years as a corporate adviser and investment banker principally in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. Six years experience as a director of a multinational machine tool manufacturing organization based in the UK, with responsibility for operations, quality control, occupational health and safety and human resources' management. As a leading producer and marketer of fresh meat and produce, Craig Mostyn operates a comprehensive quality assurance program and is committed to quality, safety and the humane treatment of animals. Craig Mostyn is committed to the principle of free range farming. Craig Mostyn adheres to a stringent Quality Assurance Program across its operations. Every state and territory has a Food Act that businesses operating in the meat industry must conform with. caff is responsible for ensuring that all foods that are imported into Australia comply with Australian Food Standards and foods exported face required certification requirements.

Craig Mostyn Fruit Packing Co. which was to handle the export of fruit (citrus, apples and grapes) as an exclusive and segregate operation from CM’s other operations, opened a packing shed at Beeton, in southern New South Wales, that same year. But though the war was to change significantly the way CM developed, its effects were not all bad. And, of course, there was the war’s impact on company staff. This was important as the company did not have a lot of spare cash in those days, and if it could bank its money a day or two earlier having to pay a supplier, it could use it to finance its business. Initially Mostyn and Fretwell’s biggest task was buying fruit (mainly apples, but some pears for Europe) from the growers. Ships were loaded seven days a week during that period.
